About Charities for Children
In 2003 Rob Thomson and some of his charitable friends decided to hand out over 4000 toys to children in need throughout the Palm Beaches. After handing out all those gifts Rob felt like he could do more.
“I barely scratched the surface last year,” said Rob Thomson, “I want to do more than put a dent in the need.”
So in 2004 Rob Thomas and some of his civic minded business associates created the Non-Profit, 501c3 charity organization, Charities for Children. And since our inception has dedicated to helping the less fortunate youth of South Florida. Our mission is to try to help Children in South Florida that may go without. This caring organization is all about giving back to the communities of South Florida. We have been operational since the early 2000s and have provided many children and their families with gifts, presents and charity. We enjoy giving just as much as they enjoy receiving. This is a charity that was founded on that very statement. We are 100% non-profit organization that is financed by Waterfront Properties and Club Communities. So rest assured that any donations made to this charity goes directly to the children of South Florida in need.
